Engraved Jewellery

My current jewellery has been hand engraved with geometric patterns that catch the light and sparkle as you wear them. Hand engraving is a heritage craft which involves removing pieces of metal to leave a bright cut line. I was taught to engrave by master silversmith and engraver Malcolm Appleby.

Limited Edition

This limited edition collection has been inspired by cacti. This project looked at using computer aided design and a casting company to create an element that could be used as part of a small jewellery collection. I wanted to recreate the textures found on cacti and transfer them onto a small tactile geometrical shape.

Lesage Collection

This project has been inspired by lesage tweed and other heavy woven fabrics. I have created a modular jewellery collection that uses etched and cut acrylic plates and coloured cords with magnetic ends that allow the wearer to alter the pieces to their own designs. Ribbon and other materials can be woven through the cut acrylic to create various new 'weaves' in bright and fun colours.
